Day 1: Arrival and Guided Tour of Kampala City
Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our friendly safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. After checking in and enjoying a warm lunch, you will set out on a guided city tour of Uganda’s vibrant capital. Highlights include the Uganda Museum, the royal Kasubi Tombs, and the lively craft markets where you can shop for beautiful souvenirs.
You’ll also visit the imposing Gaddafi National Mosque, where a climb to the top rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night, preparing for the exciting adventures ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with Ziwa Rhino Tracking and Hike to the Top of the Falls
After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most dramatic park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a thrilling on-foot rhino tracking experience, offering a rare chance to see these endangered giants in their natural habitat.
After lunch, you will proceed to the park and head straight to the top of Murchison Falls for a guided hike. The mighty Nile River surges through a narrow gorge and plunges dramatically into the Devil’s Cauldron—a spectacular sight! Later, you will check in at your lodge in Murchison, enjoy a hearty dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
Today begins with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the park. With your guide’s trained eyes, you will spot an array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and perhaps even a leopard basking in the morning sun. After lunch back at the lodge, your afternoon brings a relaxing boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls. Along the way, you’ll see large pods of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, and countless birds such as fish eagles and the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for dinner and another night in the wild.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Primate Capital of the World
After breakfast, you will depart for Kibale Forest National Park, known as the world’s primate capital. The scenic drive takes you through the picturesque countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge on the forest’s edge and enjoy a late lunch. Spend your evening relaxing at the lodge or taking a short guided nature walk to spot some of the park’s vibrant birdlife. Dinner will be served at the lodge as you prepare for an unforgettable chimpanzee encounter the following day.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
Following an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking adventure. Led by an experienced ranger, you’ll venture deep into Kibale’s lush rainforest in search of these playful and intelligent primates. You may also encounter red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, L’Hoest monkeys, and various forest birds.
After lunch at the lodge, the afternoon features a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run initiative rich in biodiversity. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning, after breakfast, our Uganda wildlife safari continuous south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most scenic and diverse parks. The journey offers breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the crater-dotted landscape. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before setting out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. Expect to see herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and, with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge inside or near the park.
Day 7: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Your day begins with an early game drive through the Kasenyi sector of the park, offering fantastic opportunities to spot predators like lions and leopards and grazers such as Uganda kobs, warthogs, and hyenas.
After returning for lunch and a brief rest, you’ll enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway teems with hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a stunning variety of birds, including pelicans and kingfishers. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful evening under the African sky.

Day 8: Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Gorilla Sanctuary
After breakfast, you’ll leave Queen Elizabeth behind and journey southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. You’ll drive through the beautiful Ishasha sector, known for its iconic tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a packed lunch en route before arriving at your lodge nestled in the rainforest. Take the evening to relax, settle in, and get briefed on the gorilla trekking experience awaiting you in the morning.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, you’ll report to the park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the forest for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trek. With the help of trackers and guides, you’ll hike through dense vegetation in search of a gorilla family. Once found, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing them as they play, groom, and interact just meters away. After this awe-inspiring experience, you’ll return to your lodge for a warm meal and a well-deserved rest.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Uganda's Most Scenic Lake
After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll transfer to the magical Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic beauty and dotted with 29 lush islands. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge overlooking the lake and enjoy a delicious lunch. Spend the afternoon unwinding—swim, relax in a hammock, or soak in the peaceful surroundings. As the sun sets, you’ll enjoy dinner by the lakeside and a calm night under the stars.
Day 11: Boat Ride and Nature Walk at Lake Bunyonyi
Start your day with a hearty breakfast followed by a guided canoe ride on the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Your guide will share tales about the lake’s islands, including the historic “Punishment Island.” After the boat ride, enjoy a nature walk through the rolling hills and nearby villages, offering incredible views and cultural insights. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
This morning, you’ll depart Lake Bunyonyi and head to Lake Mburo National Park, a smaller yet wildlife-rich park nestled in Uganda’s open savannah. After lunch at the lodge, you’ll go for an evening nature walk or an optional horseback safari—a unique chance to see zebras, impalas, elands, and warthogs up close. Enjoy your dinner back at the lodge and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Day 13: Game Drive in Lake Mburo and Return to Kampala
Wake up early for a final game drive through Lake Mburo’s beautiful landscape. Keep an eye out for leopards, hyenas, and over 300 species of birds. After a late breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala, stopping at the Equator for photos and a light lunch. You’ll arrive in Kampala for your final night in Uganda in the evening.
Day 14: Adventure and Exploration in Jinja – Source of the Nile
After breakfast, you’ll head to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa. Upon arrival, choose from various adrenaline-pumping activities: white-water rafting, bungee jumping over the Nile, quad biking, or enjoy a scenic boat ride at the Nile’s source. After an exhilarating day, you’ll return to Kampala or stay overnight in Jinja, depending on your departure plans.
Day 15: Departure from Kampala
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home. With incredible memories of Uganda’s diverse wildlife, friendly people, and stunning landscapes, you’ll depart with a heart full of gratitude and adventure marking the end of our Uganda wildlife safari.
